Job Context
    TAKEDA Healthy Village Project is a five years project funded by World Vision Japan located in Biral & Birgonj upazila under Dinajpur District. The project goal is “Contribute to improve delivery of MCH services through strengthening existing health structure.”
Job Description / Responsibility
  • Implementation of project activities, including strengthening Community Groups & Community Support Groups of Community Clinics, supporting Community Health Facilitators and Community Nutrition Promoters to complete Maternal & child nutrition behavior change programming, supporting community groups to manage and maintain the Community Clinics.
  • To establish and strengthen network with Government, Non-Government Organizations, CBOs, Churches and Faith Based Organizations.
  • Supervising and ensuring Nutrition Promoter & Health Facilitators effective implementation of activities.
  • Ensuring Health Facilitators & Nutrition Promoters effectively train and monitor Community Health Facilitators and Community Nutrition Promoters.
  • Ensuring that MCHN program benefits are sustained.

Educational Requirements
  • Bachelor degree in any discipline.
  • Master degree in any discipline (MPH in Nutrition is preferable).

  • Have an understanding of project implementation.
  • Extensive knowledge related to Maternal & Child Health & Nutrition.
  • Oral and written communication skills in English and Bengali.
  • Computer literacy, including the ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to drive a motorbike.
  • Valid motorbike license or willingness to attain one.
  • Minimum of four years’ experience implementing MCHN projects.
  • Experience in supervising others.
  • Training and Facilitation skill.
