Job Description / Responsibility
- Manage parts of construction projects
- Oversee building work undertaking surveys
- Set out sites and organize facilities
- Check technical designs and drawings to ensure that they are followed correctly
- Supervise contracted staff ensuring projects
- Meet agreed specifications, budgets or timescale
- Liaise with clients, subcontractors and other professional staff, quantity surveyors
- Provide technical advice and solve problems on site
- Prepare site reports and fill in paperwork
- Liaise with quantity surveyors about the ordering and negotiating the price of materials
- Ensure health, safety and sustainability of policies and legislation
- Work out on a construction site in all weathers
- Develop project schedule and complete tasks as per the schedule
